If the shoes are hot and the makeup is crazy...it has to be Sex and the City GNO.

This weekend I saw SATC with some of my girlfriends. I had to wear a great pair of shoes...and in honor of Carrie's over the top style, I went over the top with my makeup! Well with the eyes anyway.

Here are the fabulous Betsey Johnson shoes that I love, love.

My sister's night on the town...

Here's a look I did on my sister today. Sarah has three little ones, and she doesn't get a night out often, so I hope she has fun tonight. We coordinated her eye makeup with a super cute blue and black dress she was wearing. I wish I had thought to take a picture of her cute outfit too!

Eyes

MAC Blacktrack Fluidline all over lid and to line lower lashline
MAC Black Tied Eyeshadow on lid
MAC Carbon Eyeshadow in outer v
MAC Silverwear Eyeshadow (Silver from Cool Eyes Holiday 2007) for highlight and to blend
MAC Blue Herizon Liquidlast Liner to line upper lashline, winged out and topped with MAC Reflects Blue Glitter

Cheeks

Lips
MAC Viva Glam V Lipstick
MAC Whirl Lipliner
MAC Sugar Trance Lipglass
Sidenote - I peeled the Fafi Girl sticker/plastic off my Sugar Trance Gloss and I like it much better. I wasn't really feelin' the Fafi artwork.

Review - Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer

There are some products that I'm never 100% satisfied with and concealer is one of those products. It never seems to be the right color or consistency. Now that I'm part of the thirty-something crowd, consistency is becoming even more important. Heavy concealer settles into those fine (or not so fine) lines under the eyes and is, as I like to say, not cute.
Recently, I made an uplifting discovery at my local Sephora. I tested Make Up For Ever's Lift Concealer and immediately loved the consistency. It has a lovely smooth emollient feel that absorbs nicely into my skin. I picked up the number 2 tube and have been happily using it for the past several weeks. I really like the combination of coverage and hydration. I'm not as satisfied with the color choices, but the Lift Concealer has peaked my interest in this line.

Look - Red Lips

This is my go to look when I want to look done up, but don't have the time to go all out. Here's what I used to get this look in about 15 minutes(woo-hoo)!

Urban Decay Primer Potion all over lid
MAC Bare Study Paint Pot all over lid
MAC Feline Kohl Power pencil to line upper lash line
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline to line lower lash line
MAC 7 Lashes

Cheeks

MAC Light Flush Mineralized Skin Finish

Lips
MAC Mahogany Lip Liner
MAC Queen's Sin Lipstick
MAC Red Romp Lipglass
